Former reality star Spencer Pratt has released a video accusing California's voting process of enabling fraud after his defeat in the Los Angeles mayoral race. The nine-minute video, posted on July 9, 2026, claims the mail-in ballot system creates an appearance of impropriety.
Pratt, who finished second on Election Day, said later mail-in ballots boosted third-place candidate Nithya Raman. He argued that allowing votes to be counted days after polls close undermines trust in results.
In the video, Pratt compared the system to an unsecured bank vault. "How can you secure the money if you can’t lock the vault?" he asked. He added that the appearance of fraud already affects outcomes regardless of actual wrongdoing.
Pratt called for major changes, warning that fraudsters would face consequences. "To all you fraudsters out there, we’ve been watching you," he said. "And justice is coming."
