Traffic diversions planned in R.K. Nagar from Saturday

The Greater Chennai Corporation will implement traffic diversions in R.K. Nagar starting Saturday due to flyover construction across R.K. Nagar Railway LC No. 2A.

The works cover the stretch from Vaidyanathan Bridge to R.K. Nagar Junction in New Washermenpet. Specific route changes apply to buses and other vehicles. All vehicles heading towards Korukkupet from IOCL must turn left at Vaidyanathan Flyover and travel via T.H. Road to reach Korukkupet Junction. Light motor vehicles heading to IOCL from R.K. Nagar New Flyover should turn right at R.K. Nagar Junction, proceed via Korukkupet Railway Gate, continue onto T.H. Road, and then turn right at Vaidyanathan Flyover to reach IOCL Junction. Similar adjustments apply for routes via Meenambal Flyover and Moolakothalam.
