The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms with quarterback Aaron Rodgers on a one-year contract for the 2026 season, worth up to $25 million with $22 million guaranteed. Rodgers, 42, will reunite with head coach Mike McCarthy after leading the team to the AFC North title last year.
Aaron Rodgers is set to begin his second season with the Steelers after signing the contract just before organized team activities open Monday. He led Pittsburgh to a 10-7 record and the AFC North title last year despite playing with an injured left wrist for much of the season. Rodgers also passed Brett Favre for fourth on the all-time touchdown passes list during that campaign. The deal was first reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who noted a base salary between $22 million and $23 million plus incentives.
