Ashley McBryde named headliner for Belfast's Summer Series festival

Country singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde has been announced as a headliner for the new Summer Series music festival in Belfast. The event, launching next year at Custom House Square, will feature her performance on June 25. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday.

The Summer Series is set to debut in June 2026, bringing a fresh lineup of open-air concerts to Custom House Square in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter. This marks the addition of Ashley McBryde, a GRAMMY, CMA, and ACM award-winning artist, to the festival's roster. She will take the stage for a headline performance on June 25, marking her return to the city.

McBryde's announcement coincides with the release of her new single, 'What If We Don’t', scheduled for Friday, January 23, through Warner Records Nashville. A spokesperson described the track as "an anthemic, larger-than-life plea" that "dares listeners to live without regret, with McBryde’s tempestuous vocal serving as an anchor." The song explores themes of choices and consequences, as McBryde herself explained: "What If We Don’t came to me, Terri Jo Box, and Randall Clay sitting around a fire pit on a back porch, reminiscing on all the moments that we could’ve made a different choice and wondering if we should’ve. It’s about the leaps of faith that you do or don’t take, and having to learn to live with those consequences either way."

Fans eager to attend can purchase tickets starting Friday, January 23, at 10am via Ticketmaster. The festival aims to revitalize Belfast's live music scene with performances in the historic open-air venue.
