Bayern Munich have agreed one-year contract extensions with goalkeepers Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich. The deals keep both players at the club beyond the current season. Neuer, 40, and Ulreich, 36, were previously due to leave at the end of the campaign.
The club announced the extensions on May 15. Neuer, who joined from Schalke in 2011, has made 597 appearances for Bayern and collected 12 Bundesliga titles so far. He is set to claim a 13th when the team hosts Cologne on May 16 to secure the league title. Bayern will then meet Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final the following weekend at Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
