Mykolenko signs new three-year deal with Everton

Everton defender Vitalii Mykolenko has signed a new three-year contract that keeps him at the club until June 2029. The left-back joined the Toffees from Dynamo Kyiv in 2022 and has made 157 appearances.

Mykolenko expressed excitement about the extension in comments to EvertonTV. He recalled receiving a welcoming message from Seamus Coleman upon his arrival and praised the family atmosphere at the club. The Ukraine international highlighted improvements under manager David Moyes. He noted the team's progress after earlier struggles and expressed hopes of finishing higher in the Premier League table next season. Mykolenko also voiced ambitions to win silverware. He mentioned realistic dreams of securing a trophy or European competition success, while aiming for greater consistency in his performances.
