Forbundsdagen sænker flyafgiften fra juli

Forbundsdagen vedtog en reduktion af flyafgiften sent på aftenen. Lavere takster fra før maj 2024 vil være gældende fra 1. juli.

Den tyske Forbundsdag vedtog en lovændring indført af Unionen og SPD-partierne. Ud over koalitionsfraktionerne stemte også AfD for, mens De Grønne og Venstrepartiet modsatte sig planen. Afgiften på flybilletter falder med beløb på mellem 2,50 og 11,40 euro afhængigt af ruten.

For kortdistanceflyvninger op til 2.500 kilometer vil taksten være 13,03 euro i stedet for 15,53 euro. Mellemdistanceflyvninger mellem 2.500 og 6.000 kilometer vil koste 33,01 euro i stedet for 39,34 euro. Langdistanceflyvninger vil blive beskattet med 59,43 euro i stedet for 70,83 euro.

Tiltaget opfylder et løfte fra koalitionsaftalen. Staten vil miste 185 millioner euro i indtægter i år. Inden 2030 stiger det årlige underskud til 355 millioner euro. Det er stadig usikkert, om flyselskaberne vil give besparelserne videre til kunderne.

Før de nye regler kan træde i kraft, skal Forbundsrådet stadig godkende dem.
