Tysk finansminister Klingbeil bebuder skattestigninger

Den tyske forbundsregering under finansminister Lars Klingbeil (SPD) formåede ikke at blive enige med Unionen om budgetbesparelser. I stedet lægges der op til stigninger i afgifter på alkohol, tobak og kryptovalutaer samt nye afgifter på sukker og plast. Tiltagene fremgår af budgetudkastet for 2027, som præsenteres for regeringen på onsdag.

Berlin. Forbundsfinansminister Lars Klingbeil (SPD) kunne i modstrid med tidligere udmeldinger ikke nå til enighed med Unionen om besparelser. Det nye budgetudkast for 2027 og finansplanlægningen frem mod 2030 indeholder ikke desto mindre skattestigninger.

Det drejer sig om afgifter på alkohol, tobak og kryptovalutaer. Der planlægges desuden nye afgifter på sukker og plast. På trods af disse tiltag er der fortsat betydelige huller i budgettet for 2027 og de efterfølgende år.

Budgetrammerne fremstår på papiret balancerede, men inkluderer såkaldte Globalpositionen. Disse dækker over uklare tiltag såsom besparelser gennem reduktion af bureaukrati eller bekæmpelse af økonomisk kriminalitet, hvor Unionen og SPD har forskellige holdninger. En præcis kvantificering er derfor vanskelig.
