Canal Brasil to premiere series 'De Menor' on June 25

The series 'De Menor', directed by Caru Alves de Souza, premieres on Canal Brasil on June 25, continuing the director's 2013 film of the same name.

The production follows hearings of teenagers in conflict with the law across six episodes. The trials are portrayed in formats such as talk show, podcast, musical, react videos and game. The director asks: 'Is Justice equal for all? Are we truly impartial when looking at vulnerable teenagers or is there already a predisposition to judgment?'. The series addresses themes such as social inequality and institutional violence. Screened in the Generation 14plus section of the Berlin Festival, the premiere takes place at 20:30 with the first two episodes.
