Civil Police concluded that Jingwey Su, 35, murdered in November 2025 in central São Paulo, maintained links to methamphetamine trafficking. Two Chinese women were arrested on Wednesday (10) for participation in a gang tied to the drug.
The crime occurred on Rua Senador Felício dos Santos in the Liberdade neighborhood. Civil Police investigators identified evidence in the victim's belongings and messages that revealed constant negotiations related to drug trade. Delegate Bruno Cogna of the DHPP stated that the homicide stemmed from disagreements in the methamphetamine trade. One of those arrested in March was identified as the probable mastermind. Two Chinese women detained on Wednesday participated in the gang controlling trafficking in the capital, although they have no direct link to the murder. Methamphetamine trafficking in São Paulo is restricted to a small group of Chinese immigrants who operate mainly in the center. Clients are also foreigners living in the city. During the arrests, coins from seven countries and 65 grams of the drug were found, a quantity sufficient for about 600 doses.
