Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has shared details of his desired funeral arrangements during a recent interview. He wants wrestlers to attend in full character, drawing inspiration from a DC graphic novel.
Speaking on the Grave Conversations podcast, Rhodes described his vision for a "full gimmick" funeral. He referenced the Identity Crisis comic, noting how characters attended a funeral in costume.
"When my time comes, I want the wrestling world in full gimmick," Rhodes said. "Bury me in the American Nightmare Sandra Gray robe, bury me as I was."
The champion, who has spent two decades in professional wrestling, added that he views his persona as a superhero role he would like to maintain even in death. The comments come as Rhodes prepares to defend his title against Gunther on this week's SmackDown.
