Länsstyrelser får treårig beslutsmagt over ulvejagt

Naturvårdsverket delegerer nu beslutningsretten vedrørende licensjagt på ulv til länsstyrelserne i det sydlige og centrale Sverige for en treårig periode.

Dette er første gang, at delegationen dækker en treårig periode. Formålet er at give länsstyrelserne klarhed og forudsigelighed i ulveforvaltningen. Delegation gælder i rovdyrforvaltningsområder, hvor antallet af ulve overstiger minimumsniveauet. Alle länsstyrelser i de sydlige og centrale områder er omfattet, med undtagelse af Gotlands län, hvor der ikke findes nogen ulve. I det nordlige forvaltningsområde er der ikke fastsat nogen minimumsniveauer for ulve. Derfor kan der ifølge myndigheden ikke finde nogen delegation sted.
