Ethiopian Airlines starts flights to Lyon

Ethiopian Airlines has announced the launch of passenger flights to Lyon in France. This marks the airline's third destination in France and brings its total international destinations to 146.

Ethiopian Airlines chief executive Mesfin Tasew said the start of the service is an additional success in connecting Africa with the world. He added that the flight creates more opportunities for international travelers and strengthens ties between countries.

French Ambassador to Ethiopia Alexis Lamek said the flight to Lyon, an economic center, will significantly contribute to strengthening relations between the two nations. Ethiopia and France share a long-standing relationship in the aviation industry.

The airline is expanding its fleet with modern aircraft and working to increase its number of destinations.
