Fana Lamrot chapter 22 singing competition set for this Saturday

The Fana Lamrot chapter 22 singing competition, a platform for discovering new music stars, is scheduled to take place this coming Saturday in Addis Ababa.

The competition continues to be judged by a combination of audience votes, judges and the contestants' own musical selections. It features five contestants from group one in the seventh week: Helen Solomon, Daniel Alelign, Ermias Mengiste, Yonas Shimele and Absera Gezahegn. Zayen Band will accompany the musicians across two rounds.

One contestant with the lowest combined score from viewers and judges will be eliminated. The remaining four finalists each receive a prize of 1 million birr and advance directly to the sixth winners' competition of Fana Lamrot.

Viewers can watch the event live starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday via Fana Television, Fana+, Fana Facebook, Fana YouTube, Telegram channels and the website www.fanamc.com.
