Gloria Trevi invited Jacqie Rivera to join her onstage for a tribute to the late Jenni Rivera during a concert in Mexico City. The emotional performance took place on June 20 at the Auditorio Nacional.
Trevi introduced Jacqie as the daughter of a dear friend and the pair performed the ballad “Un Abrazo,” a track from Trevi’s 2025 album El Vuelo. The song’s lyrics about longing and loss moved both singers to tears as they alternated verses before the audience.
After the duet, Trevi asked Jacqie to sing the song solo and brought Chiquis and Jenicka Rivera, Jenni’s other daughters, onto the stage. Photographs of Jenni Rivera with Trevi appeared on the background screen during the moment.
Jacqie later told Billboard Español that the collaboration was arranged after her team connected with Trevi’s. She also noted plans for private birthday remembrances and a traveling memorabilia shop ahead of what would have been her mother’s 57th birthday on July 2.
Trevi continued her Celebration Tour 2026 with a set that included several of her classics.
