Partido Nacional Libertario president Johannes Kaiser addressed the controversy over a video of Ítalo Omegna with comments on minors and people with TEA. He stated the remarks are unacceptable and the party does not take responsibility for them.
Kaiser stated on Sunday that Omegna’s words are “absolutamente inaceptables”. He noted that consequences had already occurred, including the resignation of the former parliamentary advisor to Hans Marowski.
The PNL leader stressed that the party would not assume the statements as its own. “Como partido no nos hacemos cargo de declaraciones de ese calibre”, he said.
He criticized the opposition, including the Partido Socialista and the Partido de la Gente, and accused left-wing sectors of lacking moral authority on issues involving minors.
The case had prompted earlier reactions: Omegna was dismissed from the Instituto Mises Cono Sur and Senator Karim Bianchi requested a criminal investigation.
