Kate Mulgrew voices Domina in Invincible season 4

Kate Mulgrew, known for playing Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek: Voyager, voices the demon Domina in Prime Video's Invincible season 4. Domina, sister to Damien Darkblood, debuts in episode 4 amid a hellish civil war. The character marks new content created specifically for the animated series.

Prime Video's Invincible season 4 delves into the UnderRealm, known as Hell, where Damien Darkblood—voiced by Clancy Brown—navigates family ties and conflicts. In episode 4, viewers meet his sister Domina, brought to life by Kate Mulgrew. Domina makes a fierce entrance, battling a horde of Magma Knights with a battle axe before clashing with the powerful Volcanikka, voiced by Indira Varma. The fight ends in Domina's defeat, underscoring Volcanikka's menace to her foes. This storyline unfolds during a civil war engulfing demonic characters like Domina and Damien. Creator Robert Kirkman explained in an interview with SFX Magazine that the Hell narrative is original to the show. 'What was going on in Hell, and what Hell is in the Invincible universe, I think will come as a surprise to people. There wasn't anything from the comics used in that storyline. It was all just stuff we came up with for the show,' Kirkman said. Unlike adaptations from Kirkman's comics, Domina represents fresh concepts developed for the series. The season also features Bruce Campbell as the voice of Satan, a role that contrasts his demon-hunting persona in the Evil Dead franchise. These additions heighten the unpredictability of Invincible's fourth installment on Prime Video.
