Lufthansas kabinepersonale går i strejke fredag

Fagforeningen UFO har varslet strejke blandt Lufthansas kabinepersonale fredag. Det berører alle afgange fra Frankfurt og München samt flyvninger med Lufthansa CityLine fra ni tyske lufthavne. Arbejdsnedlæggelsen er planlagt fra kl. 00:01 til 22:00.

Fagforeningen UFO meddelte onsdag, at Lufthansas kabinepersonale vil strejke på fredag. Arbejdsnedlæggelsen finder sted fra kl. 00:01 til 22:00 og berører alle afgange fra Deutsche Lufthansa AG fra lufthavnene i Frankfurt og München.

Derudover vil kabinepersonalet hos Lufthansa CityLine i ni lufthavne nedlægge arbejdet: Frankfurt, München, Hamborg, Bremen, Stuttgart, Köln, Düsseldorf, Berlin og Hannover. Et stort flertal stemte for strejken ved en afstemning i slutningen af marts efter mislykkede forhandlinger.

Konflikten drejer sig om en ny overenskomst for omkring 19.000 kabinemedarbejdere hos Lufthansa, hvor der kræves bedre vagtplanlægning og længere varslingsperioder. For de cirka 800 ansatte hos Lufthansa CityLine, hvis flyoperationer efter planen ophører næste år og erstattes af Lufthansa City Airlines, søges der en social plan. UFO kritiserer Lufthansa for ikke at have fremlagt et forhandlingsbart tilbud.

UFO-formand Joachim Vázquez Bürger udtalte: "Denne situation kunne have været undgået – ansvaret ligger hos Lufthansa, som endnu ikke har formået at fremlægge et forhandlingsbart tilbud." Han bemærkede, at påskeferien bevidst var holdt udenfor for at minimere konsekvenserne for de rejsende, men udtrykte beklagelse over mulige forstyrrelser i forbindelse med hjemrejser.
