Lufthansa vil gennemføre radikal omstrukturering af kerneforretningen

Lufthansas ledelse er fast besluttet på at omstrukturere koncernens kerneforretning massivt, hvilket interne udtalelser fra ledere indikerer. Frankfurt. Jens Ritter, direktør for Lufthansa Airlines, var i sidste uge igennem ophedede møder i Frankfurt og München med medarbejderrepræsentanter fra Lufthansa Cityline. Deltagere har udtalt til Handelsblatt: "Det var bestemt ingen nem situation for Ritter."

Den 16. april besluttede koncernens bestyrelse på et hastemøde at lukke Cityline med øjeblikkelig virkning. Datterselskabet driver fødeflyvninger til Frankfurt og München og er en del af Lufthansa Airlines, som omfatter selve Lufthansa-kernebrandet.
