Mercedes lancerer Drive Assist Pro i München og Stuttgart i 2027

Mercedes har modtaget godkendelse til at introducere deres automatiserede assistentsystem til bytrafik i Tyskland. De første byer bliver München og Stuttgart.

Bilproducenten har annonceret, at “Drive Assist Pro”-systemet forventes at blive tilgængeligt i udvalgte tyske byer inden udgangen af 2026. En landsdækkende udrulning er planlagt til begyndelsen af 2027.

Udviklingschef Jörg Burzer delte informationen på LinkedIn. Han havde forinden mødt forbundstransportminister Patrick Schnieder.

Det delvist automatiserede Level 2++ system styrer køretøjet i bytrafik, undgår forhindringer og reagerer på trafiklys. Føreren skal fortsat holde hænderne på rattet.

Mercedes havde allerede introduceret systemet i Kina i efteråret. Udrulningen i USA er planlagt til senere på året.

Denmark has granted provisional approval for Tesla's Full Self-Driving Supervised system, becoming the fourth European country to do so. The Danish Road Traffic Authority, Færdselsstyrelsen, announced the decision on June 9 after reviewing the Dutch type approval.
