The Beastie Boys member worked on the song with producer Carter Lang. His sons Davis and Skyler Diamond also joined the studio sessions. 'What We Got' follows the May 8 release of 'Switch Up,' Mike D's first solo single and the first new music from any individual Beastie Boys member since 2011.
