Senators Carlos Portinho (RJ), PL leader in the Senate, and Bruno Bonetti (PL-RJ) will visit Bolsonaro on Wednesday, February 18. On Saturday, February 21, it will be the turn of federal deputies Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and Ubiratan Sanderson (PL-RS). The visits will occur at separate times, as per Moraes's order.
Sanderson and Portinho are pre-candidates for the Senate from Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro, respectively. Despite his imprisonment, Bolsonaro retains political influence, discussing 2026 campaign directions with allies. Recently, he endorsed his son Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) as the presidential candidate and reconciled with São Paulo Governor Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos-SP), who will seek re-election with support for Flávio.
Nikolas Ferreira gained prominence by organizing a march from Paracatu (MG) to Brasília, gathering 18,000 people in defense of Bolsonaro last week. Bonetti serves as alternate for Senator Romário (PL), who took a 120-day leave and is set to return in March.
