The order followed in-camera hearings where the prosecution cited digital evidence, seized material and wider links under investigation. They noted that her custodial interrogation was necessary "in view of the serious nature of offense registered against her." Co-accused remain in police custody.

Nida Khan plans to appeal the decision. The probe mentions a Malaysia link along with names like Ajay Misar, ACP Sandeep Mitke and Rahul Kasliwal.
