Oklahoma couple faces murder charges in death of 9-year-old

An Oklahoma mother and her boyfriend have been charged with second-degree murder and child neglect after the death of her 9-year-old son. Authorities say the boy suffered severe abuse including brain injuries and BB pellets lodged in his organs.

Alicia R. Busey, 38, and Steven Duty, 43, were arrested last week and are being held in the Cleveland County Jail on $5 million bond each. They face one count of second-degree murder and three counts of felony child neglect in the death of Ruger Boude, according to court records.
