Oura has announced the Ring 5, a dramatically thinner smart ring that is 40 percent smaller than its predecessor. The new device maintains a week-long battery life while adding health monitoring features.
Finnish health technology company Oura introduced the Ring 5 on May 28. The ring features a redesigned sensing system with more powerful LEDs and photodetectors for improved accuracy across skin tones. It comes in sizes 6 through 13 with new finishes including Gold and Deep Rose that use a vapor deposition method for better scratch resistance.
