Politiet i Dalarna advarer om stigning i ATV-tyverier

Politiet i Dalarna opfordrer ejere af terrængående køretøjer til at være på vagt efter en markant stigning i tyverier den seneste uge.

Myndigheden har registreret en tydelig stigning i tyverier af såkaldte ATV'er i amtet. Ejere rådes til at være særligt forsigtige, hvis køretøjet for nylig har været sat til salg på annoncesider.

Mikael Hesselrud, kriminalpræventiv koordinator, skriver, at forbrydelserne ofte forekommer i bølger, og at gerningsmændene flytter sig geografisk. Der er risiko for, at kriminalitetsbølgen vil sprede sig til naboområderne.
