Urolig midsommerfejring i Leksand

Politiet i Dalarna håndterede omkring 150 sager under midsommeren, hvilket er det dobbelte af det sædvanlige antal for en weekend. Leksand skilte sig ud med flest hændelser, primært relateret til alkohol.

Midsommerfejringen i Dalarna betød ekstra arbejde for politiet. Ifølge talsmand Anders Dahlman skete der ingen ekstreme hændelser, men Leksand krævede mest opmærksomhed i regionen.

I en normal weekend håndterer politiet i Dalarna omkring 80 sager. Denne midsommer steg tallet til omkring 150. De fleste hændelser var alkoholrelaterede og involverede ofte unge mennesker.

Mange personer ønskede ikke at anmelde forbrydelser eller samarbejde med efterforskningen. Politiet konfiskerede alkohol direkte på flere steder.

På midsommerdag planlagde politiet trafikkontroller i hele amtet. Dahlman opfordrede alle, der havde drukket, til at undlade at køre bil.
