Stökigt midsommarfirande i Leksand

Polisen i Dalarna hanterade omkring 150 ärenden under midsommar, dubbelt så många som en vanlig helg. Leksand utmärkte sig med flest incidenter, främst kopplade till alkohol.

En vanlig helg hanterar polisen i Dalarna ungefär 80 ärenden. Under midsommar i år steg antalet till omkring 150. De flesta fallen var alkoholrelaterade och involverade ofta ungdomar.

Många personer ville inte anmäla brott eller medverka i utredningar. Polisen direktförverkade alkohol på plats vid flera tillfällen.

Under midsommardagen planerade polisen trafikkontroller i länet. Dahlman uppmanade personer som druckit att avstå från att köra bil.
