Urolig midtfeiring i Leksand

Politiet i Dalarna håndterte rundt 150 saker i løpet av midtsommeren, dobbelt så mange som en vanlig helg. Leksand utmerket seg med flest hendelser, hovedsakelig knyttet til alkohol.

Midtsommerfeiringen i Dalarna betydde ekstra arbeid for politiet. Ifølge talsperson Anders Dahlman inntraff ingen ekstreme hendelser, men Leksand krevde mest oppmerksomhet i regionen.

I en vanlig helg håndterer politiet i Dalarna rundt 80 saker. Denne midtsommeren steg tallet til rundt 150. De fleste hendelsene var alkoholrelaterte og involverte ofte unge mennesker.

Mange ønsket ikke å anmelde lovbrudd eller samarbeide med etterforskningen. Politiet beslagla alkohol direkte på flere steder.

På midtsommerdagen planla politiet trafikkontroller over hele fylket. Dahlman oppfordret alle som hadde drukket til å la bilen stå.
