Police probe alleged intimidation of kidnapping victims at Jakarta print shop

Polda Metro Jaya is investigating reports of intimidation against three victims of a kidnapping at the Mauprint print shop in Central Jakarta.

Police have received information that the victims, identified by initials TS, MRJ, and AS, faced intimidation and offers of Rp1 billion each to drop the case.

Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto said investigators will question the victims and their lawyer once they recover psychologically. He affirmed guarantees of safety for the victims.

Presidential Special Advisor Said Iqbal stated that one victim had already paid Rp50 million. He reported the findings to the President through official channels.

Seven suspects include three family members: MML, the shop owner and alleged mastermind, AYL, and CML. Police are examining each person's role based on legal facts.
