"Yes, they have been arrested. Now under further examination," Zahwani said, quoted Sunday (May 3). Two suspects were caught in Central Aceh, the other two in Binjai. The arrests follow the investigation into the murder of Dumaris Isni Sitio, which occurred on Wednesday (April 29) around 10:00 WIB on Jalan Kurnia II, Rumbai.

CCTV footage shows a woman initialed AF, the victim's former daughter-in-law, shaking hands with Dumaris before an unidentified man brutally beat her with a wooden block. The perpetrators stole jewelry, passport, 400 Singapore Dollars, cellphone, and the husband's wedding ring. Victim's husband, Salmon Meha, discovered his wife's body around 11:00 WIB upon returning from tax errands.

Police have questioned four witnesses and analyzed CCTV from April 9, 2026. The case has special attention from Riau Police Chief Irjen Pol Herry Heryawan. A case expose is scheduled for Monday (May 4).
