Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed inaugurated the Entoto Qebenna River and riverbank development project today. Mayor Adanech Abiebie said the project enhances the city's beauty.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed stressed the need to live in harmony with nature during the inauguration. He said the project will make Addis Ababa a city resilient to climate change.
Mayor Adanech Abiebie stated that the project was completed with quality and speed based on the Prime Minister's initiative. The project covers 87.6 hectares of land and has a length of 10.5 kilometers.
The prime minister noted that the community should view ongoing works with clear identity. He also said the project is fitting for the city's residents.
