PT includes Bolsonaro ex-ally on Humberto Costa ticket in Pernambuco

The Workers' Party confirmed Senator Humberto Costa's re-election bid, with Luciano Bivar as first substitute.

The PT confirmed on Monday the 20th Senator Humberto Costa's re-election candidacy for Pernambuco. Luciano Bivar, former PSL and União Brasil president, takes the first substitute spot.

The choice was decided in a meeting on Saturday the 18th and announced at the Brasil da Esperança Federation convention. Bivar, now with the MDB, maintains right-wing positions.

Humberto Costa also joins João Campos's state government ticket, alongside Marília Arraes and Carlos Costa.
