Racing Bulls shifts upgrades to Miami and Montreal after cancellations

Racing Bulls will introduce two upgrades at upcoming Formula 1 races in Miami and Montreal, originally planned for the cancelled Bahrain Grand Prix. The changes stem from the enforced April break due to the cancellation of Bahrain and Saudi Arabian events amid Middle East conflict. Team principal Alan Permane described it as a 'quick double hit.'

The Bahrain Grand Prix, initially targeted for Racing Bulls' first major upgrade, was scrapped along with the Saudi Arabian race because of conflict in the Middle East. This created a five-week break in April, pushing the Italian team's developments to the Miami Grand Prix on May 1-3 and the Montreal Grand Prix on May 22-24. Alan Permane, Racing Bulls boss, explained the situation to media including Motorsport.com. 'We had a pretty decent upgrade planned for Bahrain, which we will see in Miami,' he said. 'We had another upgrade planned for Montreal, so we will have a quick double hit there.'
