Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s duet Rein Me In has extended its run at the top of the Official Singles Chart in the United Kingdom. The track logged its 11th nonconsecutive week at number one on the chart published Friday, May 15. It remains far from the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
The song rose from number 80 to number 77 on the Hot 100 dated May 16. It has peaked at number 64 during its eighth week on the American chart. Only one other single since 1958 has managed 11 or more weeks at number one in the United Kingdom without reaching the top 10 on the Hot 100: Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around, which topped the UK chart for 15 weeks in 1994 but reached only number 41 in the United States.
