Skyh Black sends cease-and-desist to 'All the Queen's Men' creator

Drama is brewing behind the scenes of BET+'s 'All the Queen's Men' as actor Skyh Alvester Black hits show creator Christian Keyes with a cease-and-desist letter over alleged defamation. Black accuses Keyes of spreading lies about his behavior on set, demanding a retraction and apology. The feud stems from Keyes' public claims that Black was inebriated during filming.

Oh honey, the set of 'All the Queen's Men' is serving more mess than a reality TV reunion! 😤 According to TMZ, Skyh Alvester Black—who plays Addiction Anthony on the BET+ drama—has lawyered up with Marty Singer's firm to slap creator Christian Keyes with a cease-and-desist letter. It's his "first and last chance to avoid litigation," they warn, labeling Keyes' statements as "textbook defamation."

This all kicked off last month with a now-deleted Facebook post from Keyes, where he spilled the tea on Black allegedly showing up "high as a kite" on set and even bragging about it. In a viral YouTube video (not run by Keyes, but his team is on the hook anyway), Keyes dishes on expanding the ATQM universe with spinoffs and prequels to another network. But he specifically shades Black, saying, "You don't get to show up inebriated and brag about it, so yeah ... Alvester Black won't be back. Skyh won't be back. He will be written out for that and other reasons."

Keyes doubles down: "You don't laugh in my face about how high you are on my show ... so he'll be written out." Black fires back, insisting he wasn't fired—the show was just cancelled by BET+—and claims Keyes is lashing out because Black called him out for bullying cast members. Keyes even admits in the video to being "abrasive," snapping at an actor for ad-libbing: "You're not supposed to be adlibbing, and this is MY show, this isn't the standup comedy hour."

The demands are clear: yank the posts, issue an immediate retraction and apology admitting the claims are inaccurate, and zip it on further defamation. The Facebook post is gone, but that YouTube clip lingers like bad perfume. No apology from Keyes as of January 26, 2026. Even with all the queen's horses and all the queen's men, can this collab ever be put back together? 👀
