The American Hockey League has selected Manitoba Moose defenseman Tyrel Bauer as the winner of the Yanick Dupré Memorial Award for the 2025-26 season. The honor recognizes his contributions to the Winnipeg community through various charitable efforts.
Bauer, a 24-year-old from Cochrane, Alberta, has built strong ties in Winnipeg over four professional seasons with the Moose. He has helped foster families attend games and meet players through his work with the Kinship and Foster Family Network of Manitoba. He also provided custom gloves to a young fan named Noah to support his participation in sports.
