Oscars-Shortlists 2026: Bester Originalsong

Im Rahmen der Shortlists der Academy vom 16. Dezember in 12 Kategorien für die 98. Oscars hat die Musikabteilung 15 Songs für den Besten Originalsong vorgestellt. Highlights sind Tracks aus Sinners und Wicked: For Good sowie Beiträge von Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran und anderen. Fünf Nominees werden per Abstimmung der Abteilung ausgewählt.

Die Academy hat 65 berechtigte Songs aus Filmen von 2025 auf diese Shortlist von 15 reduziert, mit herausragenden Tracks aus großen Veröffentlichungen.
