Anker, a established player in portable power stations, has launched the Solix E10, which stands out by integrating three power sources: a battery, solar panels, and a smart fuel generator. This design allows homeowners to keep essential appliances running during blackouts, including high-demand items like a 5-ton air conditioner. A single E10 unit delivers up to 37.2 kilowatts of power, while two units can reach 66 kilowatts. It also features a turbo mode providing 10 kilowatts per unit for up to 90 minutes, ensuring protection for critical needs such as medical devices, refrigerators, and Wi-Fi routers.
The system's modularity enhances its appeal. Each unit includes a 6-kilowatt-hour battery, and up to three can be combined for a total of 90 kilowatt-hours, sufficient for 15 days of backup power for a typical family. Solar input reaches 9 kilowatts per unit or 27 kilowatts across three, and it works with all types of solar panels, including rigid, portable, and third-party AC systems. The smart generator connects directly via DC for charging. For whole-home coverage, the optional Power Dock supports a 200-amp backup with a 20-millisecond switchover to safeguard appliances. Alternatively, the Smart Inlet Box enables manual switching and integrates with existing solar setups.
Installation is user-friendly and stackable, with an all-metal NEMA 4 enclosure rated for temperatures from -4°F to 131°F, plus F1 UV protection for outdoor use. Wall or floor mounting options add flexibility.
Pricing starts at $4,299 for the base system with one inverter and battery. Adding the Smart Inlet Box brings it to $4,599, while the Power Dock version costs $5,799. The full package with the smart generator and Power Dock is $7,399. A $10 preorder deposit unlocks a $500 coupon and a 400-watt solar panel, totaling $1,500 in value. All units come with a five-year warranty, extended by three years for early buyers.
