Arizona woman charged with murder after hit-and-run

An Arizona woman faces second-degree murder charges after she allegedly ran over and killed a man she met on a dating app. The incident occurred in a Phoenix parking lot earlier this month.

Mikela Antresa Bahe, 30, stands accused of murder in the second degree, theft of means of transportation, and failure to remain at the scene of a fatal accident, according to the Phoenix Police Department. The charges stem from an event on May 3 when she struck 52-year-old Norris L Taft with a dark-colored SUV in the parking lot of an apartment complex near 16th Street and Maryland Avenue around 4 p.m. Surveillance footage showed the victim attempting to stop the vehicle before it accelerated, struck him, and dragged him underneath the chassis before driving away.
