Natalya Scudder, who appeared on seasons 7 and 8 of Below Deck, described spending a night in a dirty detention center before being deported to Australia. She was detained after authorities questioned photos she took during a US visit.
Scudder said she was told that monetizing the photos required a different visa than the one she held. Authorities then placed her in a room she described as lacking towels and featuring dirty bedding, with a possible stay of one to five days.
After one rough night, she underwent an interview and was deported. The process included a 17-hour flight to the US, 30 to 40 hours in custody and a 17-hour return flight.
Scudder stated she loves America but warned fellow influencers to be careful when traveling, noting increased enforcement by authorities.
