Bleachers veröffentlichen neue Single „The Van“ aus dem kommenden Album

Bleachers haben mit „The Van“ die dritte Single ihres bevorstehenden Albums „Everyone for Ten Minutes“ veröffentlicht. In dem Stück, das von einem beständigen Drum-Groove, Bläsern und einer Mundharmonika geprägt ist, blickt Jack Antonoff auf seine Anfänge als Musiker zurück. Das Musikvideo zeigt ein spontanes Hauskonzert, das die Stadtbewohner anlockt.

Bleachers, angeführt von Jack Antonoff, haben „The Van“ als neuesten Vorgeschmack auf ihr fünftes Studioalbum „Everyone for Ten Minutes“ herausgebracht. Der Song folgt dem klassischen Stil der Band, wobei Antonoff sich an Wawa-Zwischenstopps, Auftritte im Wayne Firehouse in New Jersey und eine prägende Tour von der Westküste erinnert. „So we drove back from the west with our new religion then“, singt Antonoff und fängt den Moment ein, in dem sich sein musikalischer Weg festigte. „One-way tickets in heart and in hand/Said fuck anything in my way this is forever now/And then just like that everything changed.“
