Chicken Salad Chick opens sixth restaurant in Charlotte metro

Chicken Salad Chick has announced the opening of its sixth restaurant in the Charlotte metro area and 21st in North Carolina, located in Cornelius. The new spot in Magnolia Plaza will celebrate its grand opening on March 10 with giveaways including free chicken salad for a year for the first 100 guests. The franchise is operated by Sing Bev Hospitality, which has a long history in the region.

Chicken Salad Chick, described as the nation's only fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, is expanding in the Charlotte area with a new location at 8301 Magnolia Estates Drive in Cornelius, North Carolina. This marks the brand's 21st restaurant in the state and sixth in the metro area. The grand opening is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, with the first 100 guests in line at 10:30 a.m. receiving free chicken salad rewards: the first guest gets one large Quick Chick per week for a year, while the next 99 get one per month for a year. Participants must remain in line, download the app, and make a qualifying purchase.

The opening week features additional promotions. On March 11, the first 50 guests buying an entree with two sides receive a free Chick Tote Bag. March 12 offers a free entree or Small Quick Chick on the next visit for the first 50 purchasing an entree with one side. On March 13, the first 50 buying two Large Quick Chicks get a free Large Quick Chick. Finally, on March 14, the first 50 purchasing an entree with two sides receive a free commemorative cup with a beverage.

The Cornelius restaurant is managed by Sing Bev Hospitality, which operates 20 Chicken Salad Chick locations across North and South Carolina and brings over 100 years of hospitality experience. The group first introduced the brand to Charlotte in 2014 at Carmel Commons and has since expanded to four more sites in the market.

Julie Beville, co-franchise owner, stated, "The Lake Norman area has an incredibly inviting energy that makes this community really special. It's why we have had Cornelius on our wish list of locations for a long time now and why we know our culture of spreading joy, enriching lives and serving others is going to fit right in. There's also just something about lake days that calls for fresh, flavorful food that's easy to share."

The menu includes more than a dozen made-from-scratch chicken salad flavors, fresh sides, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches, and desserts, with options for in-restaurant dining, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering. Community involvement is a priority, with the CSC Foundation supporting CURE Childhood Cancer and local food banks. Pre-opening events at the new site will raise funds for the American Cancer Society of North Carolina.

Scott Deviney, CEO and president of Chicken Salad Chick, commented, "Chicken Salad Chick is proud to continue growing with Sing Bev Hospitality throughout the Charlotte market. Over the past 13 years with us, they have exemplified what it means to be outstanding stewards of the brand. As they have expanded their business and become one of our largest franchise operators, it's become evident that what truly sets them apart is their heart. We can't wait to see the positive impact their leadership, commitment to the community and philanthropic initiatives will bring to Cornelius."

The restaurant operates Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Founded in 2008 in Auburn, Alabama, by Stacy and Kevin Brown, Chicken Salad Chick now has more than 325 locations in 22 states and has earned various industry accolades.
