Churchill Downs Inc. mit Sitz in Louisville, Kentucky, feierte einen Meilenstein mit der Eröffnung von Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming, seiner achten Unterhaltungseinrichtung für historisches Pferderennen im Bundesstaat. Die 23.000 Quadratfuß große Anlage in Calvert City umfasst 225 Historical-Racing-Maschinen, ein Einzelhandels-Sportsbook, Simulcast-Wettmöglichkeiten sowie verschiedene Gastronomie- und Getränkeservices. Diese neue Einrichtung soll die lokale Rennszene stärken, indem sie die Prämienfinanzierung für das Treffen auf Oak Grove Racing unterstützt, einer weiteren CDI-Eigenschaft. Oak Grove Racing ist eine Trabrennbahn, die etwa eine Stunde von Calvert City entfernt liegt.
