Colorado mom charged in 4-year-old son's death

A 23-year-old Aurora woman faces child abuse charges resulting in death after she allegedly left her son with a man for boot camp-style discipline.

Aurora police announced Friday that Destini Rose Lipsky has been charged following an investigation into the death of her 4-year-old son. Officers responded on May 16 to an apartment on East Tennessee Avenue where the boy was found unconscious and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at a hospital after medical staff noted extensive bruises covering his body from head to toe.
