Die New-Wave-Synthie-Pop-Band, die über 100 Millionen Tonträger verkauft sowie Grammy- und Brit-Awards gewonnen hat, ist noch nie auf dem Festival in Worthy Farm aufgetreten. Le Bon sagte, man habe ihnen zuvor einen Auftritt in einem Disco-Zelt um 15 Uhr angeboten, sie strebten jedoch den richtigen Zeitpunkt an. Er fügte hinzu, dass die Gruppe in der Programmübersicht nicht unter irgendjemandem stehen sollte und sie an ihrem Anspruch als Headliner-Act festhalten werden.
