Duran Duran refuse de jouer à Glastonbury sans être tête d'affiche

Duran Duran a déclaré qu'il ne se produirait pas à Glastonbury à moins de se voir proposer une place de tête d'affiche sur la Pyramid Stage. Le chanteur Simon Le Bon a expliqué la position du groupe lors d'une récente interview.

Le groupe de new wave et synthpop, qui a vendu plus de 100 millions de disques et remporté des Grammy et Brit Awards, n'est jamais apparu au festival de Worthy Farm. Simon Le Bon a indiqué qu'il leur avait été proposé par le passé de jouer sous une tente disco à 15h, mais qu'ils souhaitent obtenir un créneau horaire approprié. Il a ajouté que le groupe ne devrait être inférieur à personne sur l'affiche et qu'il attendra une proposition en tant que tête d'affiche.
