Rescue services were alerted to the E4 just outside Knivsta shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday evening after a truck trailer caught fire. The driver had managed to detach the trailer from the truck.

Extinguishing efforts took a long time and continued into Friday morning. Traffic was fully restored around 2:30 p.m. Trafikverket warns that the right lane is damaged but expects minimal impact.
