Florida grandmother arrested after locking children in park bathroom

A 64-year-old woman in Florida was arrested for false imprisonment after allegedly locking five children inside a park bathroom during a dispute involving her granddaughter.

Deputies in Flagler County arrested Allyson Pease-Frankel on May 28 after the incident at Ralph Carter Park in Palm Coast. According to authorities, Pease-Frankel and her 13-year-old granddaughter confronted five teenagers at the park on May 25, bringing a pit bull with them. The victims locked themselves in a bathroom, but Pease-Frankel pushed on the door while her granddaughter kicked it, trapping the group for several minutes until the pair left.
