Joel Mustonen verlängert Vertrag bei Björklöven

Der finnische Stürmer Joel Mustonen hat vor der kommenden Saison eine einjährige Vertragsverlängerung bei Björklöven unterzeichnet.

Der 33-Jährige fungierte in den vergangenen zwei Spielzeiten als Assistenzkapitän. In der letzten Saison erzielte er 16 Punkte in 52 Spielen, nachdem er vor der Saison 2022/2023 zum Verein gestoßen war.

Leksands IF has extended the contract of forward Arvid Eljas, marking the first new deal since the team's relegation from SHL to Hockeyallsvenskan. Joona Luoto is set to depart HV71 after two seasons with the club, with reports pointing to a return to his native Finland. The Finnish forward, who recorded nine points in 30 regular-season games this year, will not remain as the team heads into the next SHL campaign. Tappara, where Luoto previously progressed from juniors to the senior side, is reportedly in pole position.

Luleå Hockey forward Mathias Bromé must decide within two weeks whether to honor his contract through 2028 or accept an overseas offer. The 31-year-old Swede, who joined Luleå after a stint in Örebro, won the SM-guld in his first season there. A contract clause allows him to depart for abroad by May 1.

Finnish world champion defenceman Oliwer Kaski has returned to Sweden's SHL, signing a one-year contract with Malmö. The 30-year-old right-shot back joins from German DEL side Köln, where he recorded 38 points last season. Kaski previously played for HV71.

Peetro Seppälä, a 25-year-old defenseman, has signed a two-year contract with Finnish Liiga club Lukko after two seasons with SHL's Örebro Hockey. The deal includes an overseas clause after the first season. Seppälä recorded 26 points in 102 SHL games for Örebro.
